I am not only the child of an extreme hoarder, my company provides services to those who have reached the stage of cleaning and sorting within the house and/or storage area of a hoarder. We are sensitive to the needs of both the person and their family. We understand the need to sort through all items, recognizing that there will be important family items mixed with pure trash. We can take much of the emotional load away from the family by doing the physical work necessary to organize and clean even the most extreme situations. Please contact me if you’d like additional information.

Beverly Taylor was the hypnotherapist on the TLC TV "Help! I'm a Hoarder"   While the show ended up with hypnosis looking like a "magic cure", it portrayed what actually happened (no special effects other than they sped up the morning's cleaning).  Beverly has worked with hoarders with OCD, but it takes a lot longer for them to see results (e.g., 12 or more sessions versus 3 to 6 for clutterers).
