• New England Hoarding Consortium, June 2006 Newsletter (pdf).

•Hoarding and Intervention: Helping Hoarders Get Treatment, by Fugen Neziroglu, Ph.D., ABBP, ADAA

With the recent media about hoarding, opening up a dialogue about hoarding has gotten a whole lot easier for family members. Most of the items we had listed on this page for the last 4 years have been removed, keeping only the things that we thought might particularly appeal to a Hoarder:

107 Reasons Why People Hoard-sent in by those that do.
A story about a nun who hoards, "Sister Elizabeth"
"Saving The World" by Fred Penzel, Ph.D
A collection of posts from Squalor Survivors on "How To Start","Paper and Mail".

Do you have some advice on something to help open up a dialogue with a hoarder to post here?
