Child of a COMPULSIVE HOARDER?
Is one or both of your parents a compulsive hoarder?
Did you grow up -- or currently living -- in a house completely filled
and overflowing with junk?
Are your parents obsessed with keeping everything? Do they refuse to
throw anything away?
Are you horrified, embarrassed and ashamed of the chaotic condition of
your home?
Do you feel like this is your family's "dirty little secret?"
Do you still carry that shame with you?
Do you now struggle with hoarding yourself?
Do you feel guilty because you feel like you can't help them?
Are you worried for their mental and physical health?
Has your parent's hoarding put a strain on your relationship with them?
Does your parent refuse to get help for their problem?
Did you ever feel your parent loved their "stuff" more than you?
