Want to have your home smell like Suzy Homemaker lives there all day? Get a
crock pot
and slowly cook your dinner all day.
You don't have to do a thing except slop the ingredients in there, turn it on, wait for it to cook and eat it. Easy!
You can get them in various sizes at Walmart, Target, etc.
There are a zillion recipes out there....
but do you have one that is tried and true and a sure crowd pleaser to share with us?
Let us know by posting a reply with your recipe!

Shared with me by a Flylady friend ...
Peanut Butter 'N' Ginger Chicken
3 1/2 pounds chicken pieces
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoon orange juice
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
2 green onions including some green tops sliced
cooked noodles or rice
Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Place chicken in a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, ginger, orange peel, juice and hot sauce until well blended. Stir in green onions.
Spoon over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW about 5 hours or until chicken is tender. Serve chicken over cooked noodles or rice.
**** I like extra sauce for noodles so I double the sauce.
Makes 5-6 servings. Recipe from Healthy Crockery Cookery by Mable Hoffman
