I don't have any resources yet, but I'll try to find some.

Welcome objectivediscourse and thanks so much for posting here!

I guess I hadn't gotten around to posting these here, but here are just a couple resources I've found in Australia, fyi. Look forward to learning about anything you find!

Hi Donna it looks like you are one of the very knowledgable people on here! Thanks for putting those references in here, i'm in Sydney so I'll look for more people here. And also, I'm interested in how many different ways people treat the problem: is it OCD? depression? organisation skills? etc etc

Hello,
Here is the Treatment Section of the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation's Hoarding website. I hope this will answer a lot of questions for you....
http://www.ocfoundation.org/hoarding/treatment.php

Also, this has some good information about the books and recommended reading:
http://www.childrenofhoarders.com/forum/ftopict-783.html
(I recommend the link to "Chapter 23," I learned a lot from it.)

I'm not that knowlegeable, just a girl-with-Google who has an elderly hoarding parent, so looking for any answers has been a big focus of mine for a while . :) Donna

Awesome, thankyou! It's a big help just to know I'm not alone, like the films say. It would be great if starting this helped someone else in Australia or Sydney.
